Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a Class A CDL Roll Off Driver for our Raleigh, NC team to safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste, conduct pre-trip inspections, and maintain accurate logs in compliance with DOT.

This role requires a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, ability to lift 60 pounds, and a safety-minded, team-oriented approach. Overnight shifts and overtime may be required, with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Proficiency with manual transmission vehicles and DOT regulations.
• Must pass MVRS/criminal background checks, pre-employment physical, and drug screen.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A/B roll‑off trucks to transport hazardous and non‑hazardous waste.
• Transport waste to disposal or recycling facilities following DOT rules.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and maintain logs.
• Keep accurate digital logs of hours, service, and repairs.
• Complete manifest paperwork and coordinate with dispatch and clients.
• Assist with loading/unloading and secure loads for safety.
• Participate in ongoing safety training and development.

You will safely transport hazardous and non‑hazardous materials to various locations, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

This highly motivated & safety‑first individual will be responsible for operating Class A commercial vehicles, conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate digital logs, and adhering to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Operated Class A or Class B roll‑off trucks to safely transport hazardous and non‑hazardous waste.
• Transport hazardous and non‑hazardous waste materials to disposal or recycling facilities.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in safe operating condition.
• Maintain accurate digital logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, following all applicable DOT regulations.
• Complete all required manifest paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed.
• Properly secure load to ensure safe & compliant transportation of materials.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain industry knowledge and skills.

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Active Hazmat & Tanker endorsement.
• Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a reliable form of transportation.
• Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre‑employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC).
• Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company's commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts as needed.
• Ability to work overtime on a regular basis.
• The Driver position frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and is responsible for taking on and taking off personal protective equipment. This role is considered safety‑sensitive.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
