Job summary

Bunzl Distribution NA is seeking a Class A CDL driver to safely operate tractors and other commercial vehicles. You will conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections, deliver goods locally and over long distances, and ensure timely logs and paperwork while maintaining safety and customer service standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of driving experience, GPS routing familiarity, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Clean driving record per fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate and navigate various commercial vehicles.
• Lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading/unloading.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Must pass background check, drug tests, and maintain an active medical card.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods locally and long-distance to customer locations.
• Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and timely submission of logs and paperwork.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading and secure items safely.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Report any vehicle issues to management and ensure maintenance occurs.
