Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a CDL Driver for its private fleet in the Charlotte area. You will operate regional/local routes, be home daily, and deliver with safety, accuracy, and strong customer service.

You’ll manage scheduling and daily tasks in your vehicle, acting as your own boss while upholding company standards. The role offers a competitive benefits package, sign-on bonus up to $3,500, a quarterly safety bonus, paid vacation and holidays, and overtime opportunities after 40

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Minimum 1 year on-the-road experience.
• Willingness to move freight up to 55 pounds.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• No DUIs in last 5 years; limited DOT recordable incidents.
• Maintain required company paperwork and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive regional/local routes; home daily.
• Deliver safely and on time; assist with route planning.
• Maintain logs, perform basic vehicle checks, and adhere to DOT rules.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• At least 23 years old
• Minimum 1-year on the road experience
• Willingness to move freight up to 55 pounds
• Valid Medical card with at least 90 days until expiration
• No More than 1 DOT recordable accident in last 3 years
• No More than 3 moving violations in last 3 years
• No DUIs in last 5 years
• Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• Ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency.
• A Hazardous Materials Endorsement on CDL is preferred but not required.
• Maintains all required company paperwork.
• Follows all State & Federal regulations per Department of Transportation standards.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English
• Must be able to comply with all established rules and policies (safety, production, etc.).
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work any shift and work time as needed.
• Must be able to maintain an acceptable attendance record.
