Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers safely and on time, with courteous service. You will be home every night and have opportunities to advance your career within a growing company.

Responsibilities include dropping off and picking up equipment, operating trucks, following safety regulations, maintaining logs, and suggesting additional gear to customers. Requirements include CDL-A, HS diploma or GED, 2+ years DOT driving, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL and acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT-regulated commercial driving experience.
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers (CDL-A).
• Adhere to safety requirements, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Maintain driver's logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
