Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers in a safe, timely and courteous manner. You will be a company ambassador, home every night, and have opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities include equipment drops/picks, operating trucks, logs, safety compliance, and suggesting additional equipment to customers. Requires CDL-A, DOT experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Able to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers.
• Adhere to safety requirements including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Maintain driver's logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
