Job summary

Koenig Equipment, based in Anna, OH, is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver to support our Agriculture, Lawn & Garden, and Construction divisions. You will load, secure, and transport equipment, ensure DOT compliance, and maintain vehicle documentation while upholding KEI standards.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years of heavy-haul driving experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• 3–5 years of heavy-haul driving experience.
• Clean driving record; must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned tasks according to the schedule and communicate delays to develop a recovery plan.
• Load and unload equipment safely and efficiently; flag items needing service.
• Secure loads per DOT regulations and KEI standards.
• Maintain forklift operator certification through KEI.
• Keep DOT documentation current for vehicles and licensing.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections; report issues to SME.
• Plan efficient routes considering height, weight, and width limits for oversized loads.
• Coordinate with departmental admins to obtain necessary permits.
• Maintain professional appearance as per KEI standards.
• Record time for all work performed.
• Interact professionally with customers when contact is required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
