Koenig Equipment in Knightstown, IN is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver to support our dealership and customers. The role involves transporting equipment, loading/unloading, and ensuring DOT compliance.

Requirements include 3–5 years of heavy-haul driving and a valid CDL with a clean record; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; pre-employment background check and drug screen. We offer base pay plus monthly incentives and a comprehensive benefits plan.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of heavy-haul driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Complete tasks according to schedule; communicate delays to develop recovery plans.
• Load and unload equipment safely; flag items needing service.
• Secure loads per DOT regulations and KEI standards.
• Maintain forklift certification and all required DOT documentation.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections; report issues to SME.
• Plan efficient routes considering height/weight/width for over-dimensional loads.
• Maintain communications with department admins for permits.
• Uphold KEI appearance standards; record time for work performed.
• Interact professionally with customers when needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
