Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean driving record with no major incidents.
• Minimum 3 years of verifiable CDL experience.
• Familiarity with the Northern VA, MD, DC metropolitan area preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and company safety rules.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks as needed.
• Operate heavy construction equipment to load/unload lowboy trailers.
• Inspect equipment and report issues promptly.
• Adhere to safety policies and complete required safety checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and maneuver heavy loads on busy roads and construction sites.
• Maintain driver logs and mileage data in compliance with regulations.
• Load, unload, and secure cargo using straps, blocks, and chains.
• Follow all policies and procedures with emphasis on SAFETY.
• Perform on-site tasks as directed by the superintendent when not transporting equipment.
• Keep vehicles clean, organized, and in good working order.
