Job summary

Clean Harbors in Romulus, MI is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs. This role performs driving and related duties on and off site for hazardous waste clean-up.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, loading/unloading, placarding vehicles, keeping logs, and complying with DOT regulations. On-call rotations and potential for growth are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Background check, drug test and medical as required.
• Must meet respirator use standards per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.34.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers when needed.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain daily logs and reports.
• Follow DOT and company safety regulations.
• Site-remediation and handling of hazardous materials as required.
• Be on call for emergency response on rotating basis.
• Safely operate vehicles according to regulations.
