Rolfson Oil in Odessa, TX seeks CDL-A drivers for immediate openings. You'll transport diesel fuels to local job sites, follow delivery instructions, and log hours. Candidates must have HazMat and Tank endorsements, 2+ years experience, be 25+, and able to operate manual transmissions.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class A CDL with Tank Vehicle N endorsement and HazMat X endorsement
• Minimum 2 years of CDL hazmat driving experience
• Minimum 2 years of bulk tanker liquid hauling experience
• Must be at least 25 years old and able to lift 75 lbs
• Safe driving history with no major MVR/PSP violations in 5 years
• Pass DOT drug test and communicate in English clearly

Responsibilities

• Safely transport diesel fuels to local job sites
• Follow delivery instructions and complete documentation timely
• Connect/disconnect hoses and operate pumps/valves for loading/unloading
• Log work/rest periods and inspect vehicles before/after trips
• Comply with DOT regulations for hazardous goods and company policies
• Interact with customers and relay specific requests

Qualifications and Skills:

• Hold a valid Class A CDL with endorsements for Tank Vehicle "N" and Hazardous Materials "H" or "X" endorsement
• Minimum of 2 years of CDL hazmat driving experience
• Minimum of 2 years of bulk tanker liquid hauling experience
• At least 25 years of age
• Lift 75 lbs comfortably
• Have a safe driving history, with no major MVR or PSP violations in the last 5 years
• Pass DOT drug test
• Proficient in writing and speaking English
• Able to work outside for long periods of time
• Flexible work scheduleMust be able to operate manual transmission vehicles (10, 13 or 18 speeds)
• Must be willing to relocate to Odessa, TX

Job Duties:

• Safely transport diesel fuels to local job sites
• Follow all delivery instructions and complete documentation accurately and timely
• Skillfully connect/disconnect hoses, and operate pumps/valves for safe fuel loading and unloading
• Document and log work/rest periods
• Inspect vehicles before and after every trip, and report any mechanical/safety issue(s)
• Ensure that all DOT regulations including those applicable to dangerous goods transport are followed
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Interact with customers and relay specific customer requests
