Job summary

Rolfson Oil is hiring drivers for Corpus Christi, TX. You will safely transport diesel fuels to local sites, follow precise delivery instructions, and perform equipment checks. The role requires a Class A CDL with HazMat and Tank endorsements, with at least two years of hazmat and bulk tanker experience, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class A CDL with Tank Vehicle N and HazMat endorsements, or X endorsement.
• Minimum 2 years hazmat CDL driving experience.
• Minimum 2 years bulk tanker liquid hauling experience.
• At least 25 years old and able to lift 75 lbs.
• No major MVR or PSP violations in last 5 years; pass DOT drug test.
• Proficient in writing and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport diesel fuels to local job sites.
• Follow delivery instructions and complete documentation accurately and timely.
• Connect/disconnect hoses and operate pumps/valves for loading/unloading.
• Document and log work/rest periods; inspect vehicles before/after trips.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations for dangerous goods and company policies.
• Interact with customers and relay specific requests.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Hold a valid Class A CDL with endorsements for Tank Vehicle \"N\" and Hazardous Materials \"H\" or \"X\" endorsement


• Minimum of 2years of CDL hazmat driving experience


• Minimum of 2years of bulk tanker liquid hauling experience


• At least 25 years of age


• Lift 75 lbs comfortably


• Have a safe driving history, with no major MVR or PSP violations in the last 5 years

Job Duties:

• Safely transport diesel fuels to local job sites


• Follow all delivery instructions and complete documentation accurately and timely


• Skillfully connect/disconnect hoses, and operate pumps/valves for safe fuel loading and unloading


• Document and log work/rest periods


• Inspect vehicles before and after every trip, and report any mechanical/safety issue(s)


• Ensure that all DOT regulations including those applicable to dangerous goods transport are followed


• Follow all company policies and procedures


• Interact with customers and relay specific customer requests
