Job summary

Rolfson Oil is hiring drivers in DeBerry, TX to safely transport diesel fuels to local sites on a full-time schedule. This role offers day and night shifts with overtime after 40 hours, weekly pay, and comprehensive health and retirement benefits.

Must have Class A CDL with Tank Vehicle (N) and HazMat (H) endorsements, plus 2+ years’ hazmat and bulk tanker experience. Ideal candidates are at least 25 years old, capable of lifting 75 lbs, and fluent in English.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Tank Vehicle N and HazMat endorsements.
• 2+ years hazmat CDL driving experience.
• 2+ years bulk tanker liquid hauling experience.
• Minimum age 25 years.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs comfortably.
• Safe driving history with no major violations in the last 5 years.
• DOT drug test clearance required.
• Proficiency in writing and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport diesel fuels to local job sites.
• Follow delivery instructions and complete documentation accurately and timely.
• Connect/disconnect hoses and operate pumps/valves for safe loading/unloading.
• Document and log work/rest periods.
• Inspect vehicles before and after every trip and report issues.
• Comply with DOT regulations for dangerous goods transport.
• Interact with customers and relay specific requests.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Hold a valid Class A CDL with endorsements for Tank Vehicle "N" and Hazardous Materials "H" or "X" endorsement
• Minimum of 2years of CDL hazmat driving experience
• Minimum of 2years of bulk tanker liquid hauling experience
• At least 25 years of age
• Lift 75 lbs comfortably
• Have a safe driving history, with no major MVR or PSP violations in the last 5 years
• Pass DOT drug test
• Proficient in writing and speaking English
• Able to work outside for long periods of time

• Skillfully connect/disconnect hoses, and operate pumps/valves for safe fuel loading and unloading

• Inspect vehicles before and after every trip, and report any mechanical/safety issue(s)
• Ensure that all DOT regulations including those applicable to dangerous goods transport are followed
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Interact with customers and relay specific customer requests
