Job summary

East Coast Facilities, Inc. is seeking a full-time Class A CDL Driver to operate tractors and haul heavy assets between job sites, service centers, and the Home Office.

The role also provides technician-like support, loading/unloading, basic maintenance, and shop assistance while adhering to DOT and company safety standards. Candidates must have a valid CDL, experience with heavy equipment, and strong load-securement knowledge.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license with acceptable MVR.
• Experience hauling heavy equipment or operating Class A tractors.
• Strong load-securement knowledge and experience.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates Class A tractors and transports trailers, heavy equipment, and materials.
• Completes extended long-distance, multi-state, and overnight trips.
• Performs pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections.
• Maintains DOT logs, mileage records, and required trip reporting.
• Transports fleet equipment between service centers and job sites.
• Ensures equipment is safe, functional, and documented.
• Assists production teams with equipment staging, loading, and setup.
• Performs light preventive maintenance and minor repairs.
• Supports shop operations, tool organization, and inventory.
• Participates in snow removal operations during winter.
