Goldens’ Foundry & Machine Co. is looking for a qualified Class A CDL Driver to join their team in North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for safely picking up and delivering cast iron products primarily within Columbus, GA, ensuring you're home every night. The position may require participation in an on-call rotation for emergency deliveries during off-hours.

The ideal candidate must possess a current Class A CDL Driver's License and adhere to safety protocols, including wearing PPE. Exceptional customer service skills and punctual attendance are essential.

Qualifications

Goldens’ Foundry Machine Company is seeking a qualified Class A CDL Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for picking up and delivering cast iron products primarily within Columbus, GA, with additional routes possible in nearby areas. Our drivers are local, ensuring you are home every night; however, you may participate in an on‑call rotation for after‑hours and weekend emergency deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Loads, secures, transports, delivers, and unloads propane to and from specified destinations
• During daily interaction with customers, the CDL Driver provides exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquiries
• Prepares and maintains records in accordance with regulations and company procedures
• Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance
• Operates truck in accordance with established safety procedures
• Maintains compliance with all DOT requirements
• Participates in on‑call rotation for after‑hours and weekend emergency deliveries or response
• Performs other duties as assigned, including but not limited to yard and plant maintenance or dock work.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Class A CDL Driver's License

Pre‑employment drug screening is required.
