Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a reliable Class A CDL Driver to transport concrete blocks from the plant to customers and SRM locations, while supporting yard operations when not delivering. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain logs, and communicate with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate has a valid Class A CDL with a current DOT Medical Card, at least 2 years of Class A driving experience, a clean driving record, knowledge of DOT regulations, and the ability to

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a flatbed with a Class A license transporting blocks from the plant to customers and SRM locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety and DOT compliance.
• Accurately complete logs and delivery paperwork.
• Maintain communication with dispatch and provide route updates.
• Load/unload blocks safely and prevent damage.
• Follow routes, schedules and safety procedures.
• Provide customer service at delivery sites.
• Operate a loader and assist yard operations as needed.
