Job summary

Norfolk Iron & Metal is seeking dependable Class A CDL drivers to join a stable team. Earn $80,000+ annually with monthly bonuses and a $5,000 sign‑on bonus. Home most nights, with an extra $100 paid for any overnight trip, plus PTO and modern equipment.

You will secure loads under DOT rules, assist truck loaders, weigh the truck, complete DVIRs, and ensure all paperwork is completed on time. The fleet features Samsara technology, new trucks, and safety footwear, with comprehensive health

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and load securement.
• Ability to work nights and maintain safe driving.

Responsibilities

• Secure loads per DOT and company policies.
• Assist truck loaders to ensure your load is loaded properly.
• Follow DOT rules for weighing the truck.
• Complete DVIR for pre- and post-trips and driving.
• Ensure that all required paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
