Job summary

Trilogy Medwaste is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to safely and efficiently complete customer collection routes. You will interact with customers, employees, management, and regulators while maintaining strict safety and infection control standards.

The role uses Navusoft for service entries and involves loading, unloading, and data recording. Shifts are 4 days per week, 10 hours daily, with a pay rate of $26.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older with 1+ years' experience preferably driving a Tractor Trailer GVW 80K lbs and able to pull a towed weight exceeding 10,000lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet all DOT and licensing requirements (Class A CDL Only).
• No DUI/DWI convictions in the past 7 years.
• Ability to pass random drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner.
• Adhere to all company safety and infection control protocols.
• Perform and document pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Enter service information into Navusoft using company-issued phone.
• Load and unload trucks/trailers; ensure loads are properly secured.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Create and affix labels using handheld printers.
• Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling devices.
• Maintain a clean vehicle interior.
• Comply with all DOH and DOT regulations.
• Pull and load supplies for next-day service.
• Weigh containers and record weights in the system.
• Operate shredding, baling, and industrial washing equipment.
• Perform daily sanitation procedures.
• Follow all traffic laws and company driving standards.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.

SUMMARY

The Driver plays a critical role in the success of our operations. This individual is responsible for safely and efficiently completing customer collection routes that may vary by schedule and deadline. The position requires regular interaction with customers, employees, senior management, and regulatory representatives. Professionalism, discretion, and strict adherence to all safety and compliance regulations are essential.

Drivers are equipped with convertible hand trucks to safely transport heavier or multiple containers from customer locations to company vehicles.

Pay rate: $26.00 per hour - Shift: 4 days per week/10hrs per day

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

• Schedule: Monday - Friday (Start times varies with possible overtime)
• Additional hours as required by operational needs

TRAVEL

• Possible overnight travel (Clackamas to Tacoma, Tri-Cities, & Klamath Falls); weather dependent
• Must maintain a valid Class A CDL driver’s license
• Must meet company insurability requirements

WORK CONDITIONS

Physical Demands & Environmental Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 65 lbs.
• Push/pull containers weighing up to 250 lbs. (96-gallon totes)
• Drive for prolonged periods (possible overnight travel)
• Work in varying weather conditions and high-heat environments
• Communicate clearly and professionally
• Perform frequent physical activities including standing, walking, climbing, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, and bending
• Walk extended distances as required
• Maintain focus and accuracy when entering or analyzing data
• Load and unload materials
• Climb in and out of vehicles and cargo areas multiple times daily
