Job summary

Trilogy Medwaste is hiring a Non-CDL Driver to safely complete customer collection routes with varying schedules. You will interact with customers, employees, regulators, and senior management while following safety and regulatory guidelines.

The driver uses a hand truck to move containers, operates on a competitive pay scale with benefits and PTO, and earns $21.00 per hour. Must meet DOT licensing and MEC requirements and travel occasionally to domestic facilities.

Qualifications

• Must have a good driving record within 3 years; no accident reported.
• Excellent customer service skills with other employees, customers and regulators.
• Must understand how to use computer for data entry.
• Must be able to use software app on mobile phone for manifest documentation.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Quickly adapt to changing business demands.
• Must meet all applicable DOT and licensing requirements.
• Licensed for vehicle to be driven (min. Class C); Class A or Class B license also acceptable.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Medical Examiner’s Card (MEC).

• Clean, wash and refuel vehicle as needed.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

SUMMARY

The Driver plays a key role in the success of our business. The successful individual will be able to safely and efficiently complete customer collection routes with varying schedules and deadlines. This individual will interact with customers, employees, members of senior management, and regulatory representatives. Drivers must follow all safety and compliance regulations. In every case, this individual must present themselves with the professionalism and discretion appropriate for each interactive situation.

Drivers are equipped with a convertible hand truck to dolly heavier or multiple containers from the generator’s storage to our vehicle for transport.

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

• Able to work an agreed upon standard schedule
• Additional hours as job duties demand

TRAVEL - OTHER

• Travel to domestic Trilogy facilities when necessary (less than 10%)
• Must have a current, valid driver's license
• Able to be insurable under our company's liability insurance policy
