Job summary

TA Services in Midlothian, TX is seeking a qualified CDL driver to join our team. You will transport finished goods and raw materials, perform pre-trip inspections, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.

We offer $24 per hour plus drop pay, accrue up to five days of PTO in the first year, and provide Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability, Tuition Reimbursement, Paid Volunteer Day, and EAP among other benefits. Minimum of 1 year of CDL driving required.

Qualifications

• CDL driving experience required or preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Transport finished goods and/or raw materials to manufacturing plants or distribution centers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and light maintenance as needed.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Safely maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions.
• Report vehicle defects or incidents promptly.

Job Description

Days and Shift Information:

• 10-12 hours a day. Starts at 6AM.
• Flexibility (Overtime)

Responsibilities

• Transport finished goods and/or raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or retail/distribution centers
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, along with light preventative maintenance
• Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and internal company policies
• Safely maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or violations promptly

Work Environment

• Fast-paced, on-the-road and loading dock environments
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions
• Physical work, including occasional lifting, climbing, and extended sitting while driving

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required

Experience

• Minimum of 1yearof CDL driving
• Previous experience in commercial driving or similar transportation roles preferred

  Pay/Benefits/Perks

  • $24/hr +Additional drop pay for every load delivered
  • Accrue up to five days PTO in first year. Two-weeks vacation, plus one week PTO accrue on first anniversary.
