Qualifications

• FMCSA Clearinghouse registration completed.
• Clean MVR with no more than 3 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents within the past 3 years.
• No DUI, reckless driving, or major violations within the past 5 years.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to complete logs, inspections, and transportation documentation accurately

Responsibilities

• Operate 53' dry van trailers hauling automotive freight.

Job Overview

Looking to get behind the wheel of a great new opportunity? We're hiring an experienced Class A CDL Driver in Lansing, MI. This is a local, home-daily driving role with steady routes, excellent pay, and immediate benefits.

Additional Duties

The ideal candidate will also be experienced on a forklift, as duties may also include the loading and unloading of trailers on our dock in Lansing.

What You’ll Do

• Operate 53' dry van trailers hauling automotive freight.
• Run dock-to-dock deliveries within a 200-mile radius of Lansing.
• Drive mostly no-touch freight, with potential for multiple stops per trip.

Driving Requirements

• Operate a Class A CDL vehicle pulling 53 dry van trailers.
• Complete local and regional pickups and deliveries within approximately a 200-mile radius of Lansing, MI.
• Perform dock-to-dock deliveries of automotive freight.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
