Staffmark Group is hiring a Class A CDL Driver in Lansing, MI for a local, home-daily role with steady automotive freight routes. Starting pay is $27.00 per hour with overtime after 40 hours and comprehensive benefits.

The job emphasizes safety, DOT compliance, and strong communication with the logistics team. Responsibilities include operating 53' dry van trailers, dock-to-dock deliveries within ~200 miles, and potential for multiple stops.

Qualificações

• Minimum 1 year of CDL A driving experience within the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 22 years old.
• Valid CDL A license and current DOT Medical Card required.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registration completed.
• Clean MVR with no more than 3 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents within the past 3 years.
• No DUI, reckless driving, or major violations within the past 5 years.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to complete logs, inspections, and transportation documentation accurately

Responsabilidades

• Operate 53' dry van trailers hauling automotive freight.
• Run dock-to-dock deliveries within a 200-mile radius of Lansing.
• Drive mostly no-touch freight, with potential for multiple stops per trip.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain DOT compliance and all applicable safety regulations.
• Communicate load updates, dispatch availability, and equipment concerns to the logistics team.
• Operate safely and professionally while representing the company at customer locations.
