Tucker Door and Trim is seeking Class A CDL drivers for immediate openings in Monroe, GA. Since 1967, the company has been a wholesale distributor and manufacturer of doors, windows, and millwork, with a growing fleet delivering to southeastern states.

Compensation includes earnings potential up to $86k, paid training, and dedicated runs. Enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule, company-paid hotel on layovers, and well-maintained new model equipment.

Qualifications

• 18 months of proven CLASS A Truck Driving Experience within the last 36 months.
• No major moving or driving violations within the last year.
• Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software.

Responsibilities

• Transport finished goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items, and safety issues, perform pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip inspections.
• Ensure that delivery schedules are delivered as scheduled.
• Retain all necessary documents for each trip.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods).
• Ensure compliance with Tucker Door and Trim safety and company policies.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
• Immediately report defects, accidents, or violations.

Requirements

• 18 months of proven CLASS A Truck Driving Experience within the last 36 months

• Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software
• Ability to sit, stand, enter and exit the truck and trailer continuously over long periods of time
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs
