Cornerstone Building Brands in Rogers, MN is seeking a full-time Local Delivery Driver. Base pay starts at $28.00 per hour with an $8,000 bonus. Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• 2 years commercial truck driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience acceptable)
• 1 year of flatbed experience
• Clean driving record
• Willing to strap flatbed loads
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Multi‑drop delivery experience a plus
• Ability to work independently or with a team
• Ability to plan and manage time efficiently
• Ability to work safely throughout the day and prevent unsafe conditions

Responsibilities

• Deliver material in a route truck/multi-drop fashion to destinations in accordance with Federal regulations
• Apply knowledge of commercial driving and maneuvering the vehicle in varying conditions and tight loading docks
• Maintain records for compliance with State and Federal regulations
• Comply with company policies and all regulations for safe operation of a commercial vehicle
• Answer questions regarding packing lists, invoices, and materials; direct customers when needed
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections
• Maintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipment
• Report any required repairs or maintenance promptly
• Ensure compliance with DOT guidelines
• May perform other duties as assigned

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay starts at $28.00 per hour

$8,000.00 Bonus

Shift: Full-Time, Monday through Friday weekends home

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Driver will be expected to transport and deliver building materials to our customers, distribution centers and/or construction job sites using a tractor‑trailer. This position requires a wide range of skills from practicing safe driving and delivery to top‑notch customer service. The Ideal candidate will provide customer responsiveness and efficient material handling and delivery activities. This is a hands‑on regional delivery driving position.

• Deliver material in “route truck/multi-drop” fashion to destinations in accordance with Federal regulations
• Apply knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering vehicle at varying speed in difficult situations, such as heavy traffic, inclement weather or in tight loading dock areas
• Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations including driver logs, fuel purchases, mileage records, and other records required by law
• Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all Federal, State, and local regulations for safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle
• Able to answer questions regarding packing lists, invoices, packaging, and material content. If unable to answer specific questions, direct customer to appropriate contact
• Perform pre & post-trip inspections thoroughly
• Maintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipment
• Immediately report any necessary repairs and/or maintenance needed
• Actively ensure compliance with DOT guidelines
• May perform other duties as assigned
