Job summary

ABC Supply is seeking a licensed CDL Class A driver based in New Jersey to join our delivery team. You will ensure safe, on-time deliveries from the branch to customer sites and upload delivery photos for records. Expect to work Monday through Friday with nights at home and no over-the-road travel.

The role emphasizes safety, load security, and accurate paperwork, with pre-employment drug screening and potential crane or forklift credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL – Class A is required.
• Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly.
• Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are required.
• Crane certification is preferred.
• Flatbed, straight and/or knuckle boom truck experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treating customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conducting a safe work zone during each job site.
• Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives.
• Documenting every step of each delivery by taking and uploading photos with our camera phone system.
• Completing a thorough load check on your truck before leaving the branch, ensuring that all delivery materials are secured.
• Unloading materials with the Delivery Material Handler and setting materials at customer sites.
• Completing and filing all logs and government paperwork in a precise and timely manner.
• Providing the customer with an invoice on completion of each delivery and collecting payment for COD deliveries.
