Job summary

ABC Supply in Sterling, VA is hiring a licensed CDL Driver to deliver exterior and interior building products safely and on schedule, with home each night. You will ensure the safety of each delivery from departure to completion, documenting all steps and maintaining compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities include load checks, unloading coordination with the Delivery Material Handler, accurate logs and paperwork, and COD collections when required.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL – Class B is required.
• Must be able to lift 75–100 pounds repeatedly.
• Pre-employment and random drug screens are required.
• Knuckle/drywall boom truck experience is preferred.
• Hazmat endorsement is preferred.
• Crane certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conduct a safe work zone during each job site.
• Adhere to delivery schedule and follow all directives.
• Document every delivery with photos using the company phone system.
• Perform a thorough load check before leaving the branch and ensure cargo is secured.
• Coordinate with the Delivery Material Handler to unload materials.
• Prepare and file logs and government paperwork accurately.
• Provide customer with invoice and collect COD when applicable.
• May include warehouse loading/unloading duties.
