Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. (UNFI) in Pennsylvania seeks a Class A CDL Delivery Driver to perform pre/post-trip inspections, safely load and unload palletized products, and ensure paperwork accuracy.

You will deliver to corporate and independent retail stores, review orders, and update trip data using on-board systems. The role emphasizes safety, accurate billing, timely deliveries, and professional communication with customers and vendors, with growth opportunities within UNFI’s distribution

Qualifications

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a valid CDL A license and familiarization with DOT regulations.
• Ability to pass a written exam and road test is required.

Responsibilities

• Complying with FMCSA regulations.
• Delivering and unloading products using tractor trailer, ramps, lift gates, pallet jacks, and other devices.
• Operate vehicle safely within UNFI guidelines to minimize accidents and complaints.
• Report any accident to Transportation Manager promptly.
• Keep vehicles well maintained and report defects.
• Assist with back hauls and related paperwork.
• Address and resolve customer problems; ensure orders match and are delivered in good condition.
