Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. (UNFI) is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver for the Manchester, PA location. You will deliver palletized products to corporate and independent retailers, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensure accurate paperwork and delivery counts.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A and current DOT medical card.
• Ability to pass written exam and road test.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer (53-foot trailer) in regional environments.
• Deliver and unload products using ramps, lift gates, pallet jacks, and related equipment.
• Perform tight backing maneuvers and precise positioning in narrow streets, loading docks, and urban delivery locations.
• Adhere to company safety policies and DOT regulations.
• Report accidents to Transportation Manager.
• Inspect vehicle and report defects using proper documentation (DCVR).
• Handle backhauls and vendor supplies with complete paperwork.
• Verify delivery accuracy and product condition against customer specs.
• Address and resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Complete logs, timecards, and trip data entries on time.
