Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. (UNFI) is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver palletized products to stores in the West Sacramento area.

You will conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, ensure accurate delivery paperwork, and maintain safe loading and handling procedures in compliance with DOT regulations. The role requires at least one year of tractor-trailer driving, a valid Class A license, and a current medical card.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of verified tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; good time management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload products using tractor-trailers and delivery equipment.
• Operate vehicles safely under DOT/FMCSA regulations and UNFI policies.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections; report defects.
• Complete required paperwork and logs; maintain accurate trip data.
• Communicate professionally with customers and vendors; resolve issues.
