Job description

Job Title: Class A CDL Driver

We are seeking a Class A CDL driver responsible for transporting heavy equipment to our clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and time management skills, a strong customer service orientation, and experience with heavy-haul driving.

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred
• Clean driving record
• At least three years of Class A CDL driving experience
• Experience hauling wide loads and reading/following permits for oversized loads
• Basic knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and repair
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as stooping, bending, and climbing
• Proficiency in English for communication with customers and pilot cars

Responsibilities:

1. Load heavy equipment onto lowboy trailers, ensuring proper cargo securement, including tarp, chain, and strap as needed
2. Operate commercial motor vehicles safely
3. Unload heavy equipment at job sites
4. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
5. Ensure loads are secure and compliant with DOT regulations

Compensation:

$55,000 - $85,000 annually, based on experience
