Job summary

Wow Woodbury Chevrolet is seeking a skilled Body Shop Class A Technician to perform advanced structural, frame, and cosmetic repairs in our shop. You will assess damage, plan repairs, and ensure OEM compliance while supporting a collaborative team.

This role balances hourly and flat-rate pay, with potential for a sign-on bonus based on experience and certification level, and requires strong attention to safety, quality, and meticulous workmanship.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in complex collision repair.
• Class A or Master Body Shop Technician certification.
• I-CAR certification (current or in progress).
• Extensive knowledge of body structures and repair techniques, including frame/unibody repair.
• Experience with disassembly, damage analysis, repair planning, and reassembly.
• Experience collaborating with estimators/service advisors on repair planning.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced structural, frame, and cosmetic body repairs per OEM standards.
• Inspect vehicles to identify damage and develop repair plans.
• Collaborate with estimators on the estimate process and supplements.
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicles for analysis and repair sequencing.
• Use measuring systems to ensure accurate repairs and alignment.
• Maintain documentation of work performed, parts used, and labor hours.
