Job summary

Wow Woodbury Chevrolet in Woodbury, CT, seeks an Automotive Class A Technician to perform high-level diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Chevrolet vehicles in our service department. This hourly, flat-rate, incentive-based role is designed for an experienced technician who can handle complex repairs with minimal supervision.

You will collaborate with service advisors, document results clearly, and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional automotive technician experience.
• Master or Class A Technician certification (ASE Master or equivalent) required.
• Proven Chevrolet dealership repair experience.
• Ability to read repair manuals and diagrams in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair on Chevrolet vehicles.
• Handle engine overhauls, transmission repairs, and major driveline work.
• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to ensure safety and performance standards.
• Interpret work orders and bulletins to determine repair procedures and parts.
• Use OEM diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues.
• Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs per OEM/dealer policies.
• Communicate repair estimates and timelines to service advisors.
• Document all work and parts used in repair orders.
