Job summary

Stop & Shop in USA-MA-Assonet is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance on Class 8 tractor-trailer units, repairs, and diagnostics. You will work with tools, hold a DOT health card, and ideally possess vocational/technical certification.

CDL is required and you must be able to attain CDL-A within 18 months of hire. This full-time role covers 2nd/3rd shifts with pay of $30 per hour; data entry into maintenance systems and safety compliance are integral to daily

• Repair of brakes, rear trailer doors, tires, suspension/axle, electrical lighting, and engine.
• Perform structural welding and vehicle diagnostics with scan tools.
