Job summary

Pure Infusion is seeking a Patient Account Representative to guide patients through statements and payments with empathy. You will explain charges clearly, accept payments over the phone, and set up payment plans aligned with policy.

You will also triage complex questions to Senior Medical Billers and document every interaction in the billing system, ensuring accuracy and HIPAA compliance while supporting patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls about statements, balances, and payment options with empathy.
• Explain statements in plain language, including deductibles, co-insurance, and fees.
• Take payments over the phone, process securely, and issue confirmations.
• Set up and maintain patient payment plans per organizational guidelines.
• Outbound calls to remind balances, take payments, and adjust plans.
• Triage complex issues to Senior Medical Billers for deeper review.
• Document interactions in billing systems (AdvancedMD, Waystar, etc.).
• Collaborate with senior billers, financial counselors, and clinic staff to resolve concerns.
