Job summary

Johns Manville is seeking a warehouse associate to operate forklifts and clamp trucks, loading and unloading materials and ensuring accurate inventory and shipment preparation. You will work 12-hour rotating shifts, with overtime, nights, holidays and weekends as required.

The role requires at least 1 year of forklift experience, strict adherence to safety procedures, and active participation in training new staff. A strong focus on accuracy and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year forklift/clamp truck experience.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, overtime, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Must follow safe work practices and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, transport, and inventory finished products, raw materials, racks, pallets, machinery & equipment manually or with forklifts or clamp trucks.
• Handle materials across all areas including trucks, departments, and yard.
• Record quantities and descriptions of materials; verify records for accuracy.
• Prepare goods for shipment using SAP and JM scanning equipment.
• Clean, inspect and prep trucks for loading; operate power sweepers and scrubbers as needed.
• Perform routine safety checks on mobile equipment and report hazards.
• Assist in training of new or transferred employees.
