Job summary

AJM Packaging Corporation in Vineland, NJ is seeking a Clamp Truck Operator to load, unload, move and stage products using forklift or clamp attachments. This 12-hour shift role (6:00 AM–6:00 PM) supports rail and freight shipments and requires safe operation and adherence to guidelines.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (GED acceptable), forklift certification and at least 6 months of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Six months or more related experience preferred.
• Forklift driving/safety certified required.
• Ability to perform all physical components of the position.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck and control movement of lifting apparatus safely.
• Position forks/clamps under pallets and transport loads to designated areas.
• Load/unload materials onto trailers, rail cars, pallets, or lifting devices.
• Unload and stack materials by raising/lowering lifting device.
• Assist in tracking inventory and supply production as needed.
• Lubricate truck, recharge batteries, refuel, replace gas tanks.
• Maintain daily checklist and report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Follow all safety rules and guidelines on site.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
