Job summary

Pratt Industries in Ohio is seeking a Clamp Truck Operator to stock, move and organize materials for the corrugator, while keeping a clean, safe work area. You will follow safety rules, assist the corrugator team to maximize efficiency, and help ensure timely production.

A high school diploma and experience with lift trucks are preferred; training is provided and benefits begin on day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience operating a lift truck is preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and procedure manuals; write routine reports.
• Strong math skills and ability to read measurements in English and metric units.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.

Responsibilities

• Move rolls and organize the work‑in‑process area.
• Maintain a clean work area, sweeping and trash removal.
• Manage roll room inventory and presentation.
• Reconcile end-of-shift consumption daily.
• Report incoming damaged rolls and dress rolls as needed.
• Complete stock takes / cycle counts daily.
• Manage butt rolls.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Ensure proper delivery of all roll stock.
• Remove waste at end of shift from docks and corrugator.
• Provide back-up to the Roll Handler as required.
• Maintain sufficient paper on the floor to prevent downtime.
• Adjust to scheduling changes as needed by customers.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned by supervision.
