Job summary

Pratt in the United States seeks an experienced Clamp Truck Operator to safely operate and care for the clamp truck and support corrugator operations. You will load and move paper rolls, inspect equipment, maintain records, and uphold safety and housekeeping standards.

Preferred candidates have corrugated industry experience and a valid Lift Truck/Clamp Truck license, along with basic math and reading ability to follow instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: corrugated industry experience.
• Preferred: industrial power truck or heavy equipment operating experience.
• Preferred: 6 months experience on the wet end of the corrugator.

Responsibilities

• Operate the clamp truck safely and efficiently.
• Take rolls to the corrugator and record movements on forms.
• Unload rolls from trailers/rail cars and inspect for damage.
• Keep warehouse organized and clean.
• Adhere to production schedules and assist supervision as needed.
• Maintain records, and perform routine maintenance requests.
