Job summary

SIMOS is hiring full-time Clamp Forklift Operators in Jacksonville, FL. The role requires at least one year of recent warehouse experience and comfort with a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled environment.

Export loading experience and use of clamps are important, with overtime and possible six-day weeks, plus weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. The position demands the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, operate in freezer areas, and pass an on-site driving test.

Qualifications

• 1 YEAR OF SIT-DOWN FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
• Must be able to cross-train and support multiple departments.
• Know basic math and able to read instructions and labels.
• Non-climate-controlled building; safety rules must be followed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
• Inspect product for loading and accuracy.
• Stack and palletize non-perishable bulk products.
• Picks and stores orders; reach overhead and move for variety of tasks.
• Work in a high-traffic warehouse independently and stay focused.
