Job summary

Signature Performance is seeking a ClaimsXM Application Developer II for a remote, nationwide position. You will design, develop and maintain high‑quality software applications based on business and technical requirements, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to translate needs into technical solutions.

You will implement secure coding practices, review code for quality, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while staying current with technologies and best practices in software development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in C#/.NET for scalable, high‑performing apps.
• Strong understanding of OOP principles and design patterns.
• 3+ years of SQL Server experience, including stored procedures and T‑SQL.
• Proficiency with front‑end technologies HTML, CSS, JavaScript; frameworks like Angular/React.
• Experience with Git version control and NUnit unit testing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with team-oriented mindset.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

About The Position

• Design, develop and maintain high quality software applications based on business and technical requirements.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production incidents in a timely manner.
• Ensure applications comply with organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Implement secure coding practices and assist with vulnerability remediation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Support application deployments, software releases, and change management activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translate business needs to technical solutions and propose innovative approaches to address challenges.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability and scalability.
• Utilize version control systems (eg. Git) to manage code repositories and facilitate collaboration among team members.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including design documents, process flows and API specifications.
• Develop and maintain system integrations, APIs, data interfaces, and database components as required.
• Implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines to automate software builds, testing and deployment processes.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-project teams including project managers, business analysts, systems analysts and QA.
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies, industry trends and best practices in software development.
• Continuously enhance technical skills through self-learning, training and participation in professional development activities.
• Promote a collaborative learning environment by sharing expertise and providing support to developing team members.
• Other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in C#/.NET framework with experience in developing scalable and high-performance applications.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, stored procedures and querying using T-SQL.
• Solid understanding of database normalization, indexing and query optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks like Angular or React.
• Experience with version control systems (eg. Git).
• Proficient in unit testing frameworks (eg. NUnit).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Sound judgment, integrity and respect for confidentiality.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in TriZetto/Cognizant Facets architecture and data model is a plus.
• Knowledge of API design and development including REST and SOAP.
