Job summary

Signature Performance seeks a ClaimsXM Application Developer II to design, develop and maintain high-quality software applications supporting our healthcare clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions and ensure secure coding practices.

The role requires 3+ years of C#/.NET, strong SQL Server experience, code reviews, and proficiency with Git. You will participate in CI/CD, API development, documentation, and troubleshooting across

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in C#/.NET development.
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
  • Strong object-oriented programming and design pattern knowledge.
  • Experience with Git version control and NUnit testing.
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Eng, or related field or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain high quality software applications based on requirements.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance issues and incidents.
  • Ensure applications comply with security standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement secure coding practices and assist with vulnerability remediation.
  • Develop and maintain system integrations, APIs, and data interfaces.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including design documents and API specifications.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated build/test/deploy processes.
  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts and QA across teams.

In the role of ClaimsXM Application Developer II, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications and deliver efficient solutions.

About The Position
  • Design, develop and maintain high quality software applications based on business and technical requirements.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production incidents in a timely manner.
  • Ensure applications comply with organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement secure coding practices and assist with vulnerability remediation.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Support application deployments, software releases, and change management activities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translate business needs to technical solutions and propose innovative approaches to address challenges.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability and scalability.
  • Utilize version control systems (eg. Git) to manage code repositories and facilitate collaboration among team members.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including design documents, process flows and API specifications.
  • Develop and maintain system integrations, APIs, data interfaces, and database components as required.
  • Implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines to automate software builds, testing and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-project teams including project managers, business analysts, systems analysts and QA.
  • Stay up to date on emerging technologies, industry trends and best practices in software development.
  • Continuously enhance technical skills through self-learning, training and participation in professional development activities.
  • Promote a collaborative learning environment by sharing expertise and providing support to developing team members.
  • Other duties as required.
  • 3+ years of experience in C#/.NET framework with experience in developing scalable and high-performance applications.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, stored procedures and querying using T-SQL.
  • Solid understanding of database normalization, indexing and query optimization techniques.
  • Experience with version control systems (eg. Git).
  • Proficient in unit testing frameworks (eg. NUnit).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Sound judgment, integrity and respect for confidentiality.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience in TriZetto/Cognizant Facets architecture and data model is a plus.
  • Knowledge of API design and development including REST and SOAP.
