The role emphasizes Power BI and Excel usage for data analysis, data validation, and supporting system enhancements within an insurance environment.

Qualifications

• Power BI experience; extensive experience not required.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new apps quickly.
• Customer service or technical support experience preferred.
• Experience with Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Exposure to Auto Claims or Property & Casualty insurance is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support to Claims users and troubleshoot issues.
• Participate in QA and testing for claims technologies and applications.
• Identify, document, and escalate system issues with business and tech teams.
• Use Power BI, Excel, and reporting tools for data analysis and reporting.
• Support data entry, validation, and quality assurance of claims data.
• Assist with testing enhancements, document results, and flag issues.
• Provide responsive customer service and communicate technical information clearly.
• Support additional claims technology, reporting, and projects as needed.

Job description

Our client, an established organization within the insurance industry, is seeking a Claims Technology & Support Analyst to join their team. This position will support claims professionals with day-to-day technology needs while assisting with system testing, data reporting, and quality assurance initiatives. The ideal candidate will be technically savvy, customer-service oriented, and comfortable troubleshooting technology issues while developing their experience with reporting and business intelligence tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support to Claims department users, assisting with minor system issues, troubleshooting, and general technology-related questions.
• Participate in quality assurance and testing of claims technologies and applications, including Paragon and Claims Center.
• Assist with identifying, documenting, and escalating system issues while working with appropriate business and technology teams toward resolution.
• Utilize Power BI, Excel, and other reporting tools to assist with data analysis, reporting, and operational needs.
• Support data entry, data validation, and quality assurance activities to help maintain accurate claims and system information.
• Assist with testing system enhancements, documenting results, and identifying potential functionality or workflow issues.
• Provide responsive customer service to internal users and help communicate technical information in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Support additional claims technology, reporting, and operational projects as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Working knowledge of Power BI; extensive professional experience is not required.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn and troubleshoot new applications, systems, and technology.
• Customer service or technical support experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Previous exposure to Auto Claims, insurance claims, or the Property & Casualty insurance industry is highly preferred.
• Experience with data entry, quality assurance, system testing, reporting, or technical support is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills with a willingness to assist users with a variety of technical needs.

Salary & Benefits

• $65,000 to $75,000 annual base salary, depending on experience
