We’re working with a growing specialist claims business seeking a Subsidence Claims Technician to join its expanding team.

This fully remote, desk-based role offers the opportunity to manage a portfolio of subsidence claims, working closely with engineers and technical specialists to progress claims and deliver a high standard of customer service.

The business welcomes applications from people who already have subsidence claims experience and can bring their existing knowledge to the team, as well as property claims handlers who are keen to move into the specialism.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of subsidence claims from instruction through to settlement.
• Liaise with engineers, policyholders, contractors and other stakeholders throughout the claims journey.
• Maintain accurate claims records and ensure service level agreements are met.
• Keep customers informed and provide a high standard of service throughout their claim.
• Work closely with engineering and technical teams to achieve the best outcomes.

• Previous claims handling experience within subsidence or property claims.
• Existing subsidence knowledge or an interest in developing within the specialism.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own caseload.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work independently in a fully remote role.
