Job summary

Reserv Claims Analysis, LLC is seeking a Claims Team Lead for rental vehicle claims. You will coach a pod of adjusters, review complex files, approve settlements, and balance workload to hit quality and timeliness goals. The role supports work-life balance with a 100% remote setup across eligible U.S.

states. Expect leadership of day-to-day operations, onboarding, and ongoing development of team members, while maintaining strong communication with carriers and clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of claims leadership experience.
• At least 1 year of informal leadership or mentoring.
• Strong coaching, communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Sound judgment on reserves, settlement authority and escalation.
• Comfort with claims reporting and dashboards.
• Active adjuster license with resident-state or DHS; willingness to obtain more licenses within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Guide a pod of adjusters through daily questions, escalations and high-severity files.
• Review files and reserves; ensure client instructions and regulations are followed.
• Approve settlements and reserve changes within delegated authority; route larger items to Manager.
• Onboard and train new adjusters; conduct regular 1-on-1s and file reviews.
• Balance workload to meet inventory, diary and cycle-time targets.
• Monitor daily/weekly reports; address stale or aging claims.
• Serve as first contact for carrier, client, counsel and vendor escalations.
• Contribute to weekly business reviews with status, risks and trends.
• Handle a reduced caseload of the most complex claims.
• Raise recurring issues and process gaps to the Manager early.

Location Requirement

Candidates must reside in an eligible U.S. state throughout employment. We are unable to hire candidates residing in California, Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or outside the United States.

About the role

• The Team Lead is the first line of leadership for a pod of APD, BI or Litigation adjusters. You coach and unblock adjusters day to day, review complex files, and keep the pod hitting quality, timeliness and service goals, while carrying a reduced caseload of your own.

What you'll do

• Monitor daily and weekly reports; identify stale or aging claims and drive them to action.
• Serve as the first point of contact for carrier, client, counsel and vendor escalations.
• Contribute to weekly business reviews with clear status, risks and trends.
• Handle a reduced caseload of the most complex claims.
• Raise recurring issues, process gaps and performance concerns to the Manager early.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of claims leadership experience, with a track record of strong file quality.
• At least 1 year of informal leadership, mentoring or lead experience preferred.
• Strong coaching, communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Sound judgment on reserves, settlement authority and escalation.
• Comfort with claims reporting and dashboards.
• Active adjuster license: resident-state license where available, otherwise a Designated Home State (DHS) license. Willing to obtain any additional required licenses within 60 days, including state testing.
