Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Claims Leader to supervise a high-volume desk in a remote-capable role. You will guide a team handling indemnity and litigation, ensuring accurate settlements and compliance.

The role requires 10+ years in claims, active licenses across states, and leadership experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. You will leverage GB tech to optimize performance and coordinate with clients, carriers, and brokers.

Overview

• Claims Background: Minimum of 5-10+ years of experience adjusting a full indemnity desk plus litigation.
• Prior leadership experience: Minimum of 2 years prior leadership/people management experience in a claims environment required.
• Jurisdictional Experience: California Workers Compensation
• Active Adjusters' licenses: CA Designation required (up to date on CE hours). SIP optional.
• Location: This role is eligible for fully remote work.

Client Communication:Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers in a professional, positive, and proactive manner.

Prioritize and Develop:Effectively manage multiple competing priorities,identifycoaching opportunities, and position team members for successful development.

About You

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 10 years related claims experience
• Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled
• Knowledge of all team member related functions
