Job summary

CRC Group is a leading, independent insurance distributor seeking a Claims Supervisor to oversee daily workflow, review high-value claims, and coach the team to meet service standards. You will monitor KPIs, resolve disputes, and collaborate across departments to improve processes and customer experience.

The role requires 5+ years in claims, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, a bachelor’s degree, and relevant licenses or certifications (AIC/CPCU preferred). Benefits are extensive.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of claims experience in insurance, with 2+ years in supervision.
• Experience leading high-performing teams and coaching staff.
• Strong knowledge of claims processes and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily workflow of the claims team to meet goals and service standards.
• Review and approve complex or high-value claims per policies and regulations.
• Provide coaching, training, and regular feedback to claims representatives.
• Monitor KPIs and report on productivity, accuracy, and timelines.
• Serve as escalation point for disputes or customer concerns.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize claims processes and customer experience.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficiency initiatives.
• Ensure documentation and records comply with audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the daily workflow of the claims team to ensure goals and service standards are met.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• 5 or more years of claims experience within the insurance industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Proven experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of claims processes, regulations, and industry best practices.

Certifications / Licenses / Registrations

• Adjuster license required based on state regulations.
• Industry certifications such as AIC (Associate in Claims) or CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) are preferred.
