This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, digging into the details, and figuring things out in situations where you have to think on your feet, weigh different factors, and make sound judgment calls.
We are looking for an experienced Claims & Risk Coordinator to take ownership of the day-to-day coordination of claims across our construction operations. This is not a repetitive, behind-the-scenes claims processing position. You'll work across departments and directly with insurance adjusters, attorneys, employees, vendors, and members of the public to investigate issues, gather the facts, coordinate next steps, and keep claims moving toward resolution.
No two days are exactly alike. You may be investigating a vehicle or property damage claim one day, coordinating a workers' compensation matter the next, and responding to an urgent request from an adjuster, attorney, or operations leader in between.
You'll have the opportunity to manage your responsibilities with a meaningful level of independence while working alongside Safety, Operations, Accounting, and company leadership. We're looking for someone who can think critically, exercise good judgment, communicate confidently, and take initiative without needing every next step mapped out for them.
This position is a strong fit for someone who enjoys having ownership of their responsibilities and solving problems rather than simply following a checklist. You'll need to be comfortable shifting gears when priorities change, working through situations where all the answers aren't immediately available, and communicating with people who may not always agree with you.
At the same time, claims work requires accuracy. Details, documentation, deadlines, and follow-through matter. The right person can move quickly without losing control of the details.
If you enjoy investigating issues, making sense of complicated situations, working with a wide variety of people, and seeing matters through to resolution, we'd like to hear from you.
