Job summary

NaphCare, headquartered in Birmingham, AL, is seeking a Claims Review Manager to oversee a team that reviews authorizations for medical procedures and reconciles claims. The ideal candidate will manage daily workflow, generate performance reports, and drive process improvements while maintaining patient data confidentiality.

The role requires at least 3 years in healthcare claims or related fields, strong data management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years minimum experience in a healthcare claims, billing or medical authorization setting.
• Ability to prioritize, delegate, and meet deadlines in a high volume environment.
• Working knowledge of medical claims, medical terminology, medical records, and medical authorization processes.
• Strong written, verbal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review medical authorizations in scheduling system to resolve outstanding claims.
• Manage team of Claims Review Specialists to ensure timely work with minimal errors.
• Develop and deliver regular reports on team analytics and KPIs.
• Identify and resolve operational challenges and implement process improvements.
• Maintain confidentiality of medical records and patient data.
• Handle large volumes of data with high accuracy.
