Job summary

NaphCare, Inc. invites applications for a Claims Review Specialist at our Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham, AL. The role supports scheduling teams by reviewing medical authorizations and reconciling claims, with emphasis on accuracy and high-volume data entry.

You will liaise between scheduling and claims to ensure timely processing, maintain patient confidentiality, and contribute to process improvements in a growing correctional healthcare provider.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher.
• Two (2) years minimum experience in a healthcare or claims setting.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines is critical in this role.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and medical records.
• Strong written, verbal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review medical authorizations in scheduling system to resolve outstanding claims.
• Data entry of vendor and provider information.
• Maintain accuracy and multitask while meeting deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality of medical records and patient data.
• Handle large volumes of data with strong attention to detail.
• Assist with additional duties and specific projects as assigned.
