Job summary

Indiana Farmers Insurance is seeking an experienced Casualty Claims Representative II. The ideal candidate will preferably be located in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, or Michigan and will handle Auto and General Liability casualty claims, negotiating settlements and applying strong analytical skills.

This role requires a college degree or related work experience, 3-5 years claims experience, excellent time management and the ability to work independently.

• Good negotiating skills.
• Medicare knowledge, preferred.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Handle Auto and General Liability casualty claims.
• Negotiate settlements and determine appropriate reserves.
• Investigate and evaluate claims, including liability and damages.
• Coordinate with insureds, counsel, and vendors to manage claims effectively.
