Job summary

Jobtailor is hiring a Claims Adjuster to handle Personal Lines auto claims and assess liability for first- and third-party cases. You will manage files with precision, uphold statutory guidelines, and deliver exceptional customer service.

The role requires critical thinking, data analysis, and strong communication to support a collaborative, results-driven team. A State Adjuster's License is required; hybrid work may be available across several U.S. locations, including AZ.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• College degree is preferred.
• 1+ years of related customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to investigate and manage Personal Lines auto claims.
• Knowledge of financial accuracy, file disposition, and statutory guidelines.
• Ability to determine liability exposures and potential subrogation.
• Must obtain State Adjuster's License to process Property & Casualty claims.
• Hybrid work arrangement from multiple locations (Hartford CT, Scottsdale AZ, Naperville IL) three days/week.

Requirements

• Ability to investigate and manage first- and third-party Personal Lines auto claims
• Knowledge of financial accuracy, file disposition, and statutory guidelines
• Ability to determine liability exposures and potential subrogation
• Critical thinking, investigation, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to produce clear and grammatically accurate correspondence
• Organizational skills and ability to handle competing priorities
• Ability to obtain and maintain a State Adjuster's License to process Property & Casualty Insurance Claims in the states supported by the office
• Successful passage of licensing exam(s) within 30 business days from completion of licensing training
• For external candidates, ability to work a hybrid arrangement from Hartford, CT, Scottsdale, AZ, or Naperville, IL, three days per week Tuesday through Thursday
• Minimum internet speeds of 5 Mbps upload and 30 Mbps download for remote work arrangements
